Description
My roles at Great Towers Specialist Hospital and Save A Life Mission Hospital was to check patient's vitals, carry out phlebotomy procedures and venipuncture, cleaning and disinfecting surgical instruments, assisting the Surgeon in carrying out surgical operations like myomectomy, spontaneous vaginal delivery, giving of medications to patients, bed making and chatting patients vital information. I worked directly with the Medical Doctor and Head Nurse in Great Towers Specialist Hospital and Save A Life Mission Hospital in chaperoning. Duration:Start dates 19/04/2021 and 28/04/2022 respectively. End dates: 17/06/2021 and 10/09/2023About Company

It was incorporated in Port Harcourt, Nigeria with Registration number 1294610 on the 22 october 2015 (GREAT TOWERS SPECIALIST HOSPITAL) While SAVE A LIFE MISSION HOSPITAL is an ISO- certified group of hospitals with over 500-bed strength, fully equipped for multi specialty procedures including IVF/ICSI, Fertility treatment, Laparoscopy etc.Their mission is to improve the health care system in Nigeria and produce active and valuable nurses to keep them ready for any emergency that may come up also creating job opportunities for themselves. It plays a vital role in the community with improved by health care system and quick responses to emergency. I chose these organizations because I find their mission to be important and relevant to my career goals.Requirements

Responsibility
- My role at Great Towers Specialist Hospital and Save A Life Mission Hospital was to check patient's vitals, preparation of the bed in the wards and carryout venipuncture. I worked directly with the Medical director in chaperoning and assessing patient's diagnosis during ward rounds. I was appointed the leader of my team.
Qualification
- Basic knowledge of Nursing and patient care in a health care organization, for those coming for internship.
- Experience is also needed.
- Those seeking for jobs need to have a BSN or RN certificate.
